FAQ

I am looking for a therapist, what is next?

The next step is simple: reach out for a consultation. We'll schedule a time to connect — no pressure, just a chance to talk about what’s bringing you here and what you’re hoping for.
I’ll answer any questions you have, and together we’ll figure out if it feels like a good fit. If it does, we’ll set up your first session and start building a space that’s supportive, thoughtful, and tailored to you.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out — we’ll take it one step at a time.

What can I expect in the first session?
We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy or coaching, and start building a foundation for our work together

How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum. Some adjust over time depending on what’s happening in their creative projects, careers, or personal lives. We’ll find a rhythm that works for you.

How long are sessions?
Standard sessions are typically 50 minutes, with longer sessions available if needed.

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, I offer secure online therapy throughout California and coaching worldwide. It’s flexible, confidential, and designed to fit into busy or travel-heavy schedules.

Do you offer in person sessions?
Yes — I offer a limited number of in-person sessions at my office in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. If meeting in person feels right for you, let’s chat about finding a time that works.

What are your areas of specialization?
I specialize in working with artists, performers, entertainment executives, and creative teams. Areas of focus include eating disorders, body image, anxiety, ADHD, career transitions, burnout, leadership development, and building resilience in high-pressure environments.

How do I know if therapy or coaching is right for me?
If you’re feeling creatively blocked, overwhelmed, disconnected from your work, or ready to make changes but unsure where to start — this work can help. Therapy and coaching are both spaces to be seen, to untangle challenges, and to reconnect with what inspires you.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy is often about emotional healing — working through patterns, trauma, or struggles that impact well-being. Coaching is future-focused, helping you sharpen leadership skills, make strategic decisions, and move toward specific career or creative goals. We’ll discuss which is the right fit for you.

Do you take insurance?
I’m an out-of-network provider. If you have a PPO insurance plan, I can provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement. We’ll go over all the details during your consultation.

How do I schedule a session?
You can reach out here to book a consultation. We'll have a conversation about where you are and how I can support you.

What if I’m not sure I’m ready?
That’s completely okay. Taking the first step is often the hardest part. Even if you're unsure, reaching out is an act of courage — and we’ll move at your pace.
